Overview

Be introduced to the technical requirements for all Autonomous Systems command and data links including the demands various payloads place on the command and data links. Learn to calculate link throughput performance and data rates associated with each payload type during typical missions.


Course Outline

The course will explore the following aspects of unmanned/autonomous systems:

  • Link and payload specifications
  • Command Links, Data Links, Broadcast links, Relay links
  • Imagery and Infra Red Line Scan (IRLS)
  • Payloads:
    • Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
    • Moving Target Indicator (MTI)
    • Laser Designator
    • Jamming and Electronic Reconnaissance payloads .

Course Details

Duration: 4 days

Who should attend: Designed for technical, management and operational professionals involved in selection, design and operation of autonomous systems

Prerequisite: No prerequisities are mandated for this course, although a general technical  background and basic knowledge of algebra is expected

Accreditation: National accreditation is currently not available for this course

Trainer: Dr David L. Adamy, MSEE / BSEE graduate and frequently published technical author. Global expert in EW and related systems and  internationally renowned teacher of EW and communications theory
