Babcock Australia and New Zealand has been recognised at the 2026 HR Innovation Awards, with our People Experience team taking out the Best Onboarding Program or Initiative award. The announcement was made at the awards ceremony in Sydney on Friday, 26 June.
The HR Innovation Awards celebrate organisations, teams and individuals who are transforming the world of work through innovative people practices and programs.
Award-Winning Onboarding Experience
Our People Experience team reimagined onboarding as a holistic employee experience that begins from the moment a candidate accepts an offer and continues through to their first anniversary. The year-long journey is designed to inform, connect and inspire new employees, with a strong focus on building meaningful connections, belonging and ongoing support.
Commenting on the award, Naomi Arnold, Head of People Experience, said:

We were also well represented across the awards program, with our Risk Management Fundamentals Training Program named a finalist in the Best Training and Development Program category, and our Graduate Development Review Initiative recognised as a finalist in the Best Graduate and Early Career Program or Initiative category.
These recognitions highlight our ongoing commitment to investing in our people and creating positive employee experiences across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
