Serpentine Primary School STEM day

Building for the future is important to Babcock, and we’re committed to actively encouraging children and young people at every stage of education to study STEM subjects.

Capturing the curiosity and enthusiasm of primary school children gave us the opportunity to attend the Serpentine Primary School ‘STEM Day’ in August, engaging with students from Serpentine Primary and Byford Primary as they enjoyed a day of robots and electronics.

The day was a collaboration between the two schools, which are located near Armadale WA, with current Year 6 STEM students guiding the younger students through basic coding and programming activities.

Serpentine Primary School’s ‘STEMAZING’ room showcases student achievements, which have been made possible with Babcock’s ongoing sponsorship.
